There is no universally best CRM. The right choice depends on team size, sales motion, budget, existing tools and how much customisation you need. These are the trade-offs we discuss with clients during discovery.
Zoho CRM
Zoho offers the broadest suite for the price. Combined with Books, Desk, Sign and Analytics under Zoho One, it can run most of a mid-sized business. Deluge scripting allows deep customisation without separate infrastructure.
- Best for: cost-conscious teams wanting an all-in-one suite
- Strengths: value, breadth, regional tax support, customisation
- Watch out for: interface consistency across apps and planning integrations upfront
HubSpot
HubSpot is the easiest to adopt and excels where marketing and sales work closely together. Its content, email and automation tools are strong out of the box.
- Best for: inbound-led B2B and SaaS teams
- Strengths: usability, marketing automation, reporting
- Watch out for: costs rising quickly as seats and tiers increase
Salesforce
Salesforce is the most configurable and scales across business units and complex processes. It also has the largest ecosystem of apps and partners.
- Best for: larger organisations with complex requirements
- Strengths: flexibility, ecosystem, enterprise security
- Watch out for: implementation effort and ongoing administration
A simple decision path
- Under 50 users and want an all-in-one suite: start with Zoho
- Marketing-led growth with strong inbound: consider HubSpot
- Complex, multi-division processes and enterprise governance: consider Salesforce
